Every year the Perugia Classical Music Foundation proposes over 150 concerts in the most beautiful places in Umbria through the numerous initiatives of which it is the protagonist; some are better known as the concert season Amici della Musica, the Sagra Musicale Umbra, the Francesco Siciliani Prize, the Musica per Crescere project and the recent Horizons Festival. The Foundation also promotes other initiatives dedicated to music and society that have less resonance but which are very important for us: Music for Norcia, dedicated to the people in the earthquake crater and Music as a Gift which, through the experience of listening to live music, promotes forms of emotional well-being for those involved. We recall among these the concerts that are held in the Chapel of S. Maria della Misericordia Hospital in Perugia for patients, family members, doctors and all hospital staff, those in the complex prison of Capanne and those at Pie Donini works of Perugia.
